More Information

Initially, it was just a "fish market" (seafood retail stall) at the location. With the thought of business extension, the "floating" restaurant is extended from the seafood retail stall, which becomes a popular joint for the locals and tourists => A place like Sydney's Fish Market that individual can pick fresh seafood and get it enjoy at the market's restaurant.

Seafood is the main ingredient for all food served in the restaurant. Patrons can pick the fresh seafood from the "fish market" (if there's any seafood available, as many locals love to purchase fresh seafood from there) and get the restaurant to cook it the way you want. The price is from RM10.00 and above. The restaurant is operating for breakfast and lunch.

Besides the fresh seafood, there are few specialties prepared by the restaurant:
=> Curry "Tau Fu" (fried bean curd stuffed with fish paste that served in curry, only available on Sunday and public holidays)
=> Prawn Noodle (some patrons are back to ask about its "sambal" recipe)
=> Seafood Dumpling (prawn cube and fish paste that wrapped with a thin "lagsane"), served in soup and non-soup.
=> Prawn Balls (made from prawn paste)

Commonly, locals like to buy fresh seafood from this "fish market" as "souvenir" to relatives / friends that live out from Sandakan. Fresh seafood is selling at cheaper price as compare to city's wet market. Moreover, customers can get their fresh fishes cut and clean-up in the stall before taking home.

There are some preserved and dried food selling in the "fish market" - raw salted fish, deep-fried fish maw, dried anchovies, dried fish chips and anchovy snack. Many outsiders love to buy those items as souvenirs for friends and family.

Dedicated to PRAWN lovers.

100% prawns all over - great fresh prawn taste! Very chewy, and like having a big whole prawn in your mouth.

Why is it popular?
=> Strictly just PRAWN.
=> A nice and quick "snack" for everyone.

Delicious!~

It tastes better if added eggs to make the gravy, it called "Waa Tan".

A great "seafood noodle platter" that can be shared by 2-3 persons (medium serving for each person).

One can choose noodle of "chinese vermicelli" (mee hoon), yellow noodle or "chinese fettuccine" (kueh teow) topped with variety of fresh seafood - fish, prawn, squid (seasonal),shell (seasonal) and homemade fish paste which served in the form of fish ball, fish cake and "Yu Fu"(deep fried mixture of fish paste and eggs), and garnieshed with vegetables.

Why is it popular?
=> Reasonable pricing for quality seafood noodle and good for 2-3 sharings.
=> The seafood ingredients are always fresh.

=> It is not a meaty-dumpling.
=> It is chewy with lots of shrimp cubes in it.
=> Reasonable serving with the price paid.
=> A good choice as a light meal.
